Rewarded several times with medals and special distinctions, this red wine is born from a blend of no less than 7 different grapevines. The Cinsaut, which dominates in this blend, is associated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tempranillo, Marselan, Cabernet Franc and Carmenère. Round, fruity and fairly vigorous, Les Bretèches raises an intense deep garnet-red colour with shades of crimson, clear and bright. The nose is rich and smooth. The first bouquet is fine and delicate. It reveals subtle notes of black fruits, spices, cedar and blackberries as well as slightly floral notes of violet. The second bouquet is more delicate, offering notes of pepper, licorice, as well as fresh leather and roasted coffee. On the palate Les Breteches is full and textured, revealing a well-balanced aromatic profile with a slightly spicy finish. The structure distinguishes itself by the presence of soft and silky tannins marked by the freshness of the fruit.
